Ben Bauer

Disturbed by the lack of morality and direction of the mortgage industry over the last decade, Ben Bauer founded MB Sentinel in 2007. The creator of LORS, MB Sentinel uses a propriety system that tracks Loan Officers by attaching each funded mortgage and its payment history to the origination Loan Officer. Through LORS, Ben hopes that confidence and clarity will return to the mortgage market.
Ben first entered the mortgage business as a broker in 1995. He has held various positions in the San Francisco mortgage market, ranging from an individual broker to staffing, training, managing and growth of business. In 2001, Ben opened Delta Lending Group’s Pleasant Hill branch, where he staffed and trained new employees. In 2003 and 2004, Ben was awarded Peak Performer by Providence Systems, the nation’s leading coaching company in the Real Estate and Lending industry.

In 2006, Ben joined STaSIS Motorsports as the General Manager. STaSIS Motorsports competed in SPEED World Challenge campaigning 3 purpose-built Audis. Under his direction, STaSIS finished 3rd in 2006 and 2007 with multiple track records. Ben also is a senior driving instructor with the Audi Club North America, where he continues to share his passion of the brand with other motorsports enthusiasts.

Ben studied International Business at San Francisco State University. Today, he continues to add to his knowledge through persistent research on world economies, currencies, money flows and their effects on local markets. In his quest and passion for understanding world markets Ben created a financial blog entitled “Dropout Economist” to share his insights and predictions.
