Scott Rahn is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on disputes involving trusts, decedents’ estates, fiduciary obligations of trustees, executors, attorneys and other professionals, and general commercial litigation disputes. Scott regularly represents individual and corporate fiduciaries – including Fortune 500 financial institutions – and individual and charitable beneficiaries in litigation and pre-litigation trust matters, and he has successfully handled probate and civil litigation matters of all types. Scott also regularly counsels clients regarding trust litigation avoidance strategies, including regularly guiding client efforts to obtain favorable dispute resolution through negotiated settlement or mediation, often without the need for full-blown litigation.

Scott regularly handles estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate tax returns, family gifting and business succession planning matters.

Scott has been honored as a "Rising Star" by Law & Politics three times. He is a member of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, the Trusts and Estates section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Los Angeles Estate Planning Council, and ProVisors, and is a frequent speaker on topics related to trusts, estates and related litigation matters.

In 1999, Scott earned his B.A. in Spanish and International Latin American Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2002. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He lives in Santa Monica, California, with his wife and son.
